Every two seconds, someone in our country needs blood! 

 Every day, patients with cancer, leukemia, heart disease, sickle cell anemia and other serious illnesses may need blood transfusions to survive. Accident and trauma vicitims need blood too. Times of natural and manmade disasters can escalate the demand for blood, or contribute to blood shortages in impacted areas of our country. Your donation can help make the difference between life or death!

 The American Red Cross is excited to introduce RapidPass, a new tool that allows blood donors to help save lives in less time. RapidPass allows donors a way to complete their pre-reading and donation questions from the comfort and privacy of their home or office, reducing the time spent at blood drives by as much as 15 minutes. RapidPass cannot be completed prior to the date of the drive. Please use the button below to complete your RapidPass questionaire on the date of the drive and move through the donation process more quickly. 

• Face masks are no longer required at blood drives and donation centers, effective April 25, 2022.
• Social distancing will continue wherever possible.
• We will accommodate mask requests from donors where close interaction occurs. Individuals may choose to continue to wear a mask for any reason and we will continue to make masks available for those in attendance at blood drives and donation centers.
• In addition, where state or local laws differ from our policy, the Red Cross will remain in compliance with these laws.
